Program Design

The Executive MBA Program, aimed at mid and upper level professionals, is designed to optimize a working professional’s most valuable resource - time.  Auburn’s program design, anchored with its five on-campus residencies, international study, and innovative distance learning technologies, affords the executive both the real time interaction with faculty and fellow executives, and the flexibility of a self-paced distance program without career interruption.  It runs 21 months, launches each Fall, and prepares business leaders with the technical, analytical, and creative skills necessary to excel in the world of 21st century business.

On Campus Residencies

Students visit Auburn's campus five times during the 21-month program.  During these short, one-week residencies, the bulk of one course is delivered in a face-to-face, classroom/workshop setting

Distance Learning Technologies

Auburn has a distinguished history in distance education and the use of innovative technologies allows the executive to learn from lectures, cases, and computer simulations.

International Trips

The Auburn EMBA encompasses the foundations of a business education and places them in an international context.  After analyzing global issues through reading, case studies, and lectures, Auburn Executive Students travel as a class to study business and management practices beyond the United States.

There is no substitute for first hand international experience.  It broadens the students' horizons, equips them with the tools to excel in the global marketplace, and distinguishes them in the crowded world of MBA graduates.
